Hi!  I am Ashley!  The Founder, farmer and florist behind Prickett's Creek Petals. 

 

By day, I’m a career coach dedicated to helping students unlock their potential and find their professional footing. It’s work that I love, centered entirely on the idea of growth. But I’ve found that my passion for cultivation doesn’t stop at the office. Whether I’m guiding someone toward a new career path or watching a flower emerge from a tiny seed, the thrill is exactly the same.

As a Master Gardener and a West Virginian, I started Prickett’s Creek Petals in 2025 to get my hands into the dirt. This farm is my "free time" labor of love.  A place where I trade career strategies for seed-starting calendars and mountain grit.

While I lead the operation, I’m rarely in the field alone. I’m backed by my husband, Edward, our daughter, and Pipsy the dog. Together, we work our  soil to grow seasonal flowers that bring a little more joy to our community.

 

For me, there is no better way to spend an evening after work tending to the blooms that eventually find a home on your kitchen table.
